I started my career as a designer in publishing in 1997, and chose it because I have always been an avid (or downright obsessive) reader. I am the kind of person who as a kid stayed up reading in bed with a flashlight. I'm the kind who has a giant stack of books on my bedside table with multiple bookmarks scattered about. Designing books is a great pleasure and privilege.
• Over 15 years experience in all aspects of picture book and novel design from initial concept and sketches through final printing and reviewing of proofs.

Printable Press offers both printable templates and traditional printed stationery. My greatest pleasure is receiving an email saying they never thought they would be able to find stationery that was both beautiful and within their budget. My motto, cribbed from John Muir, is "Everyone needs beauty as bread".
